Abu Dhabi Golf Club managed by Troon Golf, is one of many recent projects we have carried out in Abu Dhabi. The club features 27 Championship holes of golf, over 162 hectares of land and is being developed by TDIC (Tourism Development & Investment Company).
The project consists of the refurbishment of the impressive club house, built in the shape of a falcon with its wings outstretched, peering over the 18th green. Refurbishment works will include the ground floor, the spike lounge, the golf shop and the male and female locker rooms.
In order to accommodate golfers during these extensive renovation works, a temporary clubhouse has been purpose built.
Construction on the project began in the second quarter of 2009, phase one is due for completion by early third quarter of 2009, in time for the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix and overall refurbishment will be completed by the fourth quarter of 2009 to host Golf Championship.
A secondary phase will see the development of a prestigious, course-view gated residential community, a mix of exclusive freehold villas, luxury townhouses and spacious, premium apartments.
