The project entails the refurbishment and part new build of two federated secondary schools, Barstable School and Chalvedon School, in East Basildon. These schools will become academies in September 2009.
Carillion is the main contractor for the £42 million scheme for the Basildon Academies contract by Essex County council. Our remit includes supply and erection of two ECP 1500 transport platforms and cuplok scaffolding for access works at the schools.
