Point of Work Assessment Card Introduced

We have recently revised our system for reviewing risk assessments and method statement to ensure that all risk assessments are kept site specific and deal with any changes in on-site conditions.
Process in summary:
Method statement and risk assessments to be submitted by H&S department prior to any work commencing.
Point of Work Assessments (POWA) have been introduced to cover any hazards not previously envisaged or following changes in on-site circumstances. Supervisors must complete these pocket-sized cards when work deviates from the original method statement and risk assessment or where new hazards have emerged. POWA's will be agreed with the client and then communicated with operatives.
